How to get associated? Members / Revenue?

The surging success of the UFC and MMA has seen many more people interested in training Martial Arts, especially Jiu-jitsu. At the same time, the popularity of group training programs has gone through the roof. SJJA gyms capitalise on these two trends in martial arts and fitness and have, overall, enjoyed rising membership numbers which are projected to continue. SJJA members are also highly engaged and proud of their school, so once they join they tend to drive growth through word-of-mouth and social media.

Unlike most gym franchises, which rely almost solely on membership income, SJJA Associated owners also benefit from the revenue that comes from private coaching and quality merchandise sales, including street apparel, official uniforms and training gear. As a result, SJJA Academies enjoy multiple revenue streams, many of which support customer retention, as well as the ability to maximise revenue per customer.
