Supportive Environment
- Encourage your child to enjoy their training, learn at their own pace, and grow with confidence.
- Foster a positive attitude toward challenges, emphasizing effort and improvement over competition.
Respect forInstructors and Staff
- Treat all instructors, staff, and fellow parents with respect and courtesy.
- Trust the expertise of our coaches and avoid interfering during classes or training sessions.
Punctuality and Attendance
- Ensure your child arrives on time for classes with the proper attire and equipment.
- Notify the academy if your child will miss a class or event.
Positive Communication
- Communicate any concerns or feedback respectfully with instructors or staff.
- Avoid discussing grievances with other parents; instead, address them directly with academy management.
Role Modeling
- Be a role model for your child by demonstrating respect, discipline, and sportsmanship.
- Celebrate their efforts and achievements, regardless of the outcome.
Observation Guidelines
- Observe classes quietly and refrain from disruptive behavior.
- Encourage and cheer for all students in a supportive and respectful manner during events or competitions.
Safety and Well-being
- Ensure your child maintains proper hygiene and wears a clean SJJA uniform for every class.
- Inform the academy of any medical or safety concerns that could affect your child’s participation.
Commitment to the Community
- Support academy events, competitions, and community activities.
- Encourage your child to engage with the SJJA values of respect, teamwork, and personal growth.
Sportsmanship and Fair Play
- Promote fair play and discourage negative behavior such as unsportsmanlike conduct, bullying, or inappropriate language.
- Respect decisions made by instructors, referees, and event organizers.
Privacy and Boundaries
- Respect the privacy and boundaries of other families, instructors, and students.
- Avoid taking or sharing photos/videos of classes or students without permission.
Encourage Consistency
- Reinforce the importance of regular attendance and commitment to training.
- Support your child’s learning journey and encourage them to persevere through challenges.
Breach of Conduct
- Any serious or repeated breach of this Code of Conduct may result in SJJA taking appropriate action.
- This may include restricting a parent or guardian from observing classes or attending events, or in extreme cases, the removal of the student from the program to protect the integrity, safety, and well-being of the SJJA community.
- SJJA is committed to fostering a positive and respectful culture for all students and families.
