Pregnant students must obtain medical clearance from their healthcare provider before participating in any classes. A signed consent form from the healthcare provider should be submitted to SJJA.

Instructors will work with pregnant students to create a customized training plan that accommodates their needs and physical condition. This plan may include modified techniques, reduced intensity, and alternative exercises.
Pregnant students should stay well-hydrated and maintain proper nutrition before, during, and after classes.
